Andy's Story
My name is Andy, and I built MathTrain as a tool to master calculus and advanced math topics. As a student, I found it difficult to get enough varied math problems to practice on and struggled to recall key mathematical theorems when exams came around.
I created MathTrain to combine two essential study strategies: Active Recall and Spaced Repetition . Drawing from an archived database of over 64,000 structured problems and solutions, MathTrain delivers targeted review drills and checks responses automatically, scheduling practice loops based on memory decay curves.
